Who we are
Keptrace is operated by Medita Development, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce no. 99904500, VAT no. NL005417129B52), Kempensebaan 22, 5613 JD Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Contact: hello@keptrace.com. These terms are a contract between you and Medita Development.

The service
Keptrace records sessions, decisions and context from AI coding tools you connect, stores them in your workspace and makes them searchable. Access is through the web app, the CLI and the API. We may change or improve the service over time; we will not remove core functionality you pay for without notice.
- 03
Accounts and workspaces
You need an account with a verified email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API tokens secret and for everything done under your account. The workspace owner controls billing, members and deletion.
You must be at least 18 and, if acting for a company, authorised to bind it to these terms.
- 04
Plans, trial and payment
Paid plans are billed per workspace, monthly or yearly, in euro, in advance. Prices are shown excluding VAT; VAT is added where applicable. Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism.
New workspaces get a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it; you are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before that at no cost.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it.
We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal.
- 05
Your content
Everything you or your tools store in Keptrace stays yours. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, back up and display it to you and your workspace members. We do not use your content to train models, ours or anyone else’s.
You are responsible for having the right to store the content you record, including code, prompts and third-party material, and for not storing anything unlawful.
- 06
Acceptable use
- No attempts to access other tenants’ data or to circumvent security or rate limits.
- No reselling or sharing a single workspace across unrelated organisations.
- No use that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
- 07
Data and privacy
We process personal data as described in our privacy policy. Data is hosted in the EU. If you need a data processing agreement, email hello@keptrace.com.
- 08
Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced where practical. Support is by email at hello@keptrace.com on business days.
- 09
Termination and deletion
You can delete your workspace at any time. Deletion removes all records immediately and permanently; there is no retention window. Invoices and payment records are kept by us and Stripe as required by Dutch tax law.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or does not pay. Where reasonable we will warn you first and give you the chance to export your data.
- 10
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits or lost data beyond what we could have prevented with reasonable care.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence or where the law does not allow it.
- 11
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
- 12
Governing law
Dutch law applies. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the Netherlands. EU consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence.
